The Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado (www.ppiac.org) will be giving a training onWednesday, March 4, 2015 at CB & Potts located at 6575 South Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Englewood, CO 80111. Social Networking will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with training from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
The focus of this training will be “The process of obtaining your Colorado private investigator license.” We will go through the step by step procedure of what each investigator needs to do in order to work through the process that DORA is implementing to obtain your mandatory private investigator license. This will involve where to go, and how to get your background check, what you need to know about obtaining a surety bond, the process of taking the jurisprudence exam, links to the law and rules information that DORA has stated will be on the exam, and information that you will need to know to finalize the procedure. We will also provide deadlines that we believe will be implemented by DORA.
*Please note this will not be a training session on what is in the jurisprudence exam. As DORA has not yet posted the exam we have no knowledge what the exam will contain.
Non-members welcome to attend the meeting from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
