Ryan Johnston our VP of Legislation and his committee have made great strides to advance the PI licensure bill and will continue to do so in 2014. I urge any member that has questions regarding this year’s PI bill to email or call Ryan. This board is also looking for members who want to get involved and may be willing to testify or write letters about a PI license. Please contact any board member for ideas on how you can help.
You will see big changes in our training this year. Stason Ikenouye our VP of Training has big plans for 2014. This will include advanced training schedule for the entire year to include dates, locations and training topic/speakers well in advance so that members can plan to attend. We will also host three specialized training classes during 2014 which will be announced soon.
Rod Gagnon is our new VP of Membership and is working on projects to increase our membership numbers and enhance benefits for current members. Our 2013 awards banquet was very successful and we are planning our 2nd banquet in April
Let’s not forget our annual conference in October 3rd and 4th, mark your calendars. This year’s conference will be hosted in Black Hawk Colorado, look for details soon on the PPIAC website!
Remember, we NEED YOUto be a thriving organization! Please attend meetings, volunteer on a committee, and post to the blog!
