The Component Methodof Criminal Defense Investigation & Case Management
With Brandon Perron — Criminal Defense Investigation Training Council (CDITC)
Earn the CDITC Criminal Defense Specialist credential in two days — and open the door to the board-certified CCDI.
A two-minute overview of the program
Brandon Perron developed the Component Method and authored Uncovering Reasonable Doubt: The Component Method, the foundational text on defense-focused criminal investigation. Through the Criminal Defense Investigation Training Council, he has trained investigators across the country in a disciplined, repeatable approach to building and managing the defense case.
This seminar distills that methodology into two days of hands-on instruction — the same curriculum behind the CDITC certification.
A complete framework for the defense investigation
This intensive, two-day course brings the comprehensive Component Method of Criminal Defense Investigation & Case Management certification program to the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado. Over two full days, you'll work through a structured, repeatable method for organizing and advancing the defense investigation from intake through resolution.
Successful completion of the program and the follow-up online examination results in the CDITC designation as a Criminal Defense Specialist — and satisfies the academic requirement to apply for the advanced designation of Board Certified Criminal Defense Investigator (CCDI).
