Annual Requirements
Trainings offered at regular monthly meetings are open to guests, who are welcome to attend a total of two meetings prior to obtaining membership in PPIAC. Any additional attendance will require a membership application in process.
Guests are encouraged to register in advance for attendance and must sign in. If you have additional questions or would like to email RSVP to a training event, please contact the VP of Membership at membership@ppiac.org for additional details.
Membership Levels & Dues
Members can renew by logging into your account and paying via PayPal using the provided interface or sending your check, payable to PPIAC, to Attn: Membership Dues, 1411 Cortez St., #21433, Denver, CO 80221. Please note there is a one-time, non-refundable $50 application fee. If an application is not accepted, the $150 dues will be refunded.
Senior:
An individual who is licensed, when licensing or the equivalent is required by the state or jurisdiction in which they do business, to provide private sector investigative or security guard services, or is an officer, partner, employee or designated representative of a duly licensed investigative or security service provider.
To qualify as a senior Member this individual must be no less than 21 years of age, have no less than 6,000 hours of relevant professional experience.
Dues – $150
Associate:
An individual who is licensed, when licensing or the equivalent is required by the state or jurisdiction in which they do business, to provide private sector investigative or security guard services, or is an officer, partner, employee or designated representative of a duly licensed investigative or security service provider.
To qualify as an associate Member this individual must be no less than 21 years of age, have an open and active private investigation business, or be employed by a private investigation or security guard service and have less than 6000 hours of relevant professional experience.
Dues – $150
Affiliate:
1) An individual employed by a government entity, law firm, insurance firm as a SIU investigator or holds a similar investigative or security related position with a governmental, corporate or other business-related entity.
2) An individual who is not an active private investigator but wishes to learn about the industry.
